Results from a Sunny Day

The first photo shows rust dyed cotton on the left, and cotton dyed with tissue paper on the right. The others are sunprint on cotton. I used silk paints for the sunprints and played with ferns and leaves from the garden, a felted border, sequins and some paper clip. I've rust dyed and printed several pieces, so the question now is what to do with them???

If you find the answer Lise then please let me know - I have a mountain of dyed pieces that I haven't got a clue what to do with. :)

Lovely batch of dyed fabrics - especially the sun print ones.

Tissue paper dyeing? How do you do that? It sounds interesting and sure looks pretty. I've been playing with rust dyeing too and have that same question as to what to do with the end results!!

Lise, your sunprints are gorgeous! I haven't tried rust dyeing or tissue paper dyeing yet -- what beautiful fabrics they produce. I especially like the tissue paper piece. I'll be trying both of those techniques soon!
