Art4Mail, a Yahoo-group I'm a member of, do not only swap postcards, but also inchies, Dotee-dolls, flat dolls, pin cushions, and this time Quilties (size 6 x 6"). This is one of three quilties I've made for a swap called Mermaids and/or Seahorses. The background fabric is hand painted, and I've been playing with more paints, free hand quilting and the embroidey unit for my Bernina.

Hi Lise, I am the proud recipient of one of your beautiful Seahorse Quilties - Yipee!!! What a wonderful surprise to get in the mail today. Your mermaid Quiltie is on the way to you - if you'd like a sneak peek at it, I've posted pictures on my blog. As soon as my camera battery recharges I will post your Seahorse right there with them. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful art with me.
Lise, the quiltie is awesome. Your talents always excite me. I just love your work and this is beautiful, just like the maker..
Love Lisa

So beautiful!!!
awesome!
Yes, Lisa, I am teh first time visitor, I've seen your blog in one of the blogs I read. You create so beautiful things! I don't make quilts even if I'd like to learn, so I am reading many quilting blogs. I am learning some bobbin lace making at the moment, and it's also is not easy. But I am not a person to srick to just one craft. As far as craft is a hobby and not work for me, I am trying to stitch, knit, crochet, beading etc...
Lise, thanks a lot for recommending me Sue's blog. I am happy to find somebody awho makes bobin lace, and she uses it a little bit different way then we do here in Russia.
